2 shops were burnt to ashes in a fire late night in Talma, Rajganj

Rajganj, July 10: Two shops, a sweet shop and a bike garage were heavily damaged in a late night fire in Talma Mod area of ​​Rajganj, sending shock waves through the community.

Reportedly, the incident took place on the Siliguri-Jalpaiguri highway late Tuesday night. As soon as the news of the fire was received, the owners closed their shops and went home.

Fire brigade and Rajganj police were immediately informed. The fire was brought under control with the combined efforts of local people and fire brigade personnel. However, the fire is estimated to have caused a loss of several lakh rupees.

Rajganj police has started investigation to find out the cause of the fire.
