29 individuals without ILP detained in Chhinga Veng during joint operation

In a coordinated operation conducted last night, Chhinga Veng Local Council and Joint NGO detained 29 non-Mizo individuals who were reportedly residing in the area without valid Inner Line Permits (ILP).

According to sources, several members of the Joint NGO group volunteered in last night operation, which targeted individuals suspected of living or conducting business in the locality without the required documentation. The detained persons were subsequently handed over to the police for further verification and legal action.

Chhinga Veng Local Council and All NGO Coordination Committee in collaboration with government authorities is curretly conducting operations to identify and remove non-Mizo residents and traders operating without proper ILP authorisation.
