Aizawl hosted training for the National Pest Surveillance System

Progressive farmers and representatives from the state agriculture/horticulture department of Siaha district attended a National Pest Surveillance System (NPSS) training held at the DAO conference hall by the Central Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Center in Aizawl, Mizoram. DA&FW launched the NPSS app as a way to counteract the damaging effects of pest and disease attacks on crops. In order to identify and manage diseases and pests, the smartphone application makes use of artificial intelligence and other cutting-edge technology.
