Aluminium contracts for July delivery on the Multi Commodity Exchange fell by 55 paise, or 0.23 per cent, to Rs 237.25 per kg in a business turnover of 4,222 lots.
Analysts said the fall in aluminium prices was mainly due to participants offloading their positions due to sluggish demand from consuming industries.
