The Assam Rifles, in commemoration of the 10th International Yoga Day, conducted Mass Yoga events in Lunglei, Serchhip, Aizawl and along Indo-Myanmar border on Friday. The event aimed to promote holistic well-being and physical fitness among the participants.The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of all ranks and students making it an event of active Yoga participation for all. All actively engaged in various yoga sessions led by trained instructors. These sessions covered essential aspects of yoga, including asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), and meditation.
Yoga plays a crucial role in maintaining overall well-being, reducing stress, enhancing mental resilience, and promoting emotional balance. Medical officers and staff also delivered lectures on physical and mental health during the event.
