Assam Rifles hosts ‘A Day with Company Commander’ to foster community engagement in Mizoram

Assam Rifles organized a meaningful community engagement initiative titled ‘A Day with Company Commander’ at Niahwthlang village, located in the Saiha district of Mizoram, this Saturday. A total of 41 students and teaching staff from Government High School Niawhtlang participated in the event, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and interaction between the armed forces and the local community. The event commenced with a warm welcome extended to the students, who were then enlightened about the organization, role, and operational mechanisms of the Assam Rifles. A special highlight of the occasion was the felicitation ceremony honoring 13 students who achieved exemplary results in the High School Examination 2024, a testament to their academic excellence and dedication.
