Ather Energy powers up Northeast push; Mizo warp club debuts in Aizawl to boost EV sentiment

Ather Energy Ltd., a key player in India’s electric two-wheeler space, has intensified its Northeast expansion strategy with the launch of five new outlets and the introduction of the Mizo Warp Club in Aizawl. This initiative is designed to celebrate Mizoram’s early EV adopters and cultivate a vibrant user community as EV sentiment surges across the region.

Mizoram has emerged as a frontrunner in EV penetration, prompting Ather to offer its full portfolio—including the 450S, 450X, 450 Apex, and family-friendly Rizta—alongside supportive measures like the Eight70 Warranty (8 years/80,000 km), 60 upcoming Ather Grid fast chargers, and FlexiPay financing options via NBFCs.

In Aizawl, where scooter culture is robust, consumer appetite for performance-based and thoughtfully designed EVs is rapidly expanding. Competitive ex-showroom pricing—₹1.10 lakh for the Rizta S and ₹1.21 lakh for the 450S—is attracting urban riders and families alike. With advanced safety features and long-range capabilities, Ather’s EVs are becoming the preferred upgrade over ICE vehicles in the city.

With over 3900 fast chargers nationwide, Ather is poised to capture significant market share as EV demand accelerates across the Northeast belt.
