Google has officially launched the Pixel 10 series, presenting it as a significant advancement in AI-driven smartphones. While the lineup introduces notable improvements in camera tech, hardware, and artificial intelligence, questions linger about its pricing and whether it can truly rival Apple’s dominance in the premium market. Powered by the new Tensor G5 chip, the Pixel 10 enables a range of on-device AI features such as Magic Cue, Camera Coach, and real-time translation, aimed at enhancing productivity, call quality, and photo capabilities.

Unlike past gimmicky tools, these AI features appear more useful and practical for everyday use. The Pixel 10’s cameras are a major highlight, with the standard model now featuring a 5x optical zoom telephoto lens, and the Pixel 10 Pro offering up to 100x zoom, 8K video, and improved Night Sight for video. Google also promises seven years of software and security updates, making it a strong option for long-term users.

However, concerns remain about the Tensor G5’s performance compared to Apple and Qualcomm chips. With a starting price of ₹79,999 in India, the Pixel 10 faces stiff competition from Apple’s iPhone 17.
