Chief Minister’s Award 2025 is given by the Mizoram CM to the top HSSLC and HSLC students

The highest scorers of the 2025 Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) exams were honored at a special ceremony hosted by the Mizoram Education Department at Vanapa Hall in Aizawl. This occasion, called the Chief Minister’s Award, was designed to honor and motivate students who excelled in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) exams. Mizoram Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma attended the event as the Chief Guest.

The Minister of Education, Dr. Vanlalthlana, was also in attendance as a distinguished visitor. Vanapa Hall was filled with pride and excitement as officials, educators, and family members came together to honor the children’s achievements. The Chief Minister’s Award is more than just a prize, according to Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma’s remarks. It is a means by which the government honors the achievements of diligent students and motivates them to achieve even greater success in the future. According to him, Mizoram’s greatest asset is its educational system.

Four exceptional children who excelled in the Mizoram Board exams have received congratulations from Dr. Vanlalthlana, the chief minister of Mizoram. The Chief Minister’s Award-winning students were commended for their accomplishments in HSLC, science, business, and the arts as well as their astute use of technology. Pi Angela Zothanpuii, Director of School Education, presided over the occasion, which is the 13th iteration of the Chief Minister’s Award ceremony. The keynote speaker, Special Secretary of Education Pu David Lalthantluanga, emphasized the value of quality education and the responsibility of educators. In honor of the students’ accomplishments, a citation and souvenir were given out at the ceremony.
