Chief secretary visits mumbai

Mizoram Chief Secretary, Pu Khilli Ram Meena, IAS visited Mumbai during 7-11, August, 2025. During his stay in Mumbai he visited Mumbai Mizoram House and interacted with the staff of Mumbai Mizoram House. He visited each and every patients to their respective rooms and wish them a speedy recovery. The Chief Secretary was received by Pu H. Lalruatliana, Dy. Resident Commissioner, Mumbai Mizoram House.

The DRC has apprised that Pu Khilli Ram Meena was the only Chief Secretary of Mizoram who have visit Mizoram House since it was established in 2005. As a part of his visit to Mumbai, Pu Khilli Ram Meena met Chief Secretary of Maharashtra Shri Rajesh Kumar Meena, IAS at his residence and held a discussion of the proposed Mizoram House at Navi Mumbai. The Chief Secretary of Maharashtra has called Managing Director CIDCO and requested him to pursue extension permission application submitted by the Government of Mizoram during their meeting.

Pu Khilli Ram Meena has also highlighted the importance of good coordination between the TATA Memorial Hospital and the cancer patients of Mizos. Chief Secretary of Maharashtra committed that he will make a request to the authority of TATA memorial Hospital to make necessary arrangement.
