New Delhi, May 13: Copper futures prices rose 0.29 percent to Rs 857.80 per kg on Tuesday due to strong spot demand.
The price of copper contracts for June delivery on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose by Rs 2.50 or 0.29 percent to Rs 857.80 per kg in a business turnover of 1,658 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
