The Mizoram government has appointed Dr. H. Lalthlangliana as the new commissioner of state election commission. He will replace incumbent Laima Chozah.
In an order issued on Tuesday, Lalthlangliana will draw fixed monthly salary of Rs. 2.25 lakh and other allowances.
Lalthlangliana, a Mizoram Civil Service (MCS) officer, currently works as commissioner and secretary in the state land revenue and settlement department.
