Assam Rifles alongwith Police Department Zokhawthar Recovered Heroin No 4 worth Rs 82.50 lakhs from General area crossing Point 3 (Khurte Kai) Zokhawthar, Champhai District, Mizoram and apprehended one individual (Myanmar National).
In yet another success in its crusade against smuggling activities, Assam Rifles, recovered Ten Hongs of Heroin No 4 worth ₹ 82.50 Lakhs (Rupees Eighty Two Lakhs Fifty Thousand) from General Area Crossing Point III (Khurte Kai), Zokhawthar, Champhai district and apprehended one individual (Thangdeihpau, Age – 56 yrs (Myanmar National), S/o – Suanmang , R/o – Kaptel, Falam, Myanmar) along with a 125cc Kenbo Bike on 03 Feb 2025.
The entire consignment and the individual was taken into custody by Police Department, Zokhawthar for further investigation and legal proceedings
