Honda Cars is set to expand its SUV portfolio in India with a new edition of the Elevate, recently teased by the brand. The teaser suggests the SUV will feature sporty red accents, giving it a more dynamic appearance, while the interior largely retains the existing layout.
The upcoming Honda Elevate New Edition showcases an earthy brown exterior complemented by vibrant red highlights on the front bumper near the fog lamps, on select spokes of its 17-inch alloy wheels, and subtly on the grille and bonnet decals. Inside, the cabin may feature additional red elements, including ambient lighting, and could adopt a bold all-black theme instead of the standard black-and-ivory combination. Following the pattern of the Apex Summer Edition, this variant is expected to offer exclusive features such as a larger infotainment system and advanced camera options.
Powering the SUV will remain the familiar 1.5-liter, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine delivering 119 hp and 145 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual or 7-step CVT. Prices for the Honda Elevate start at Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom).
