Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch its new midsize SUV in India, with an official release date set for September 3, 2025. The company recently teased the vehicle, revealing a glimpse of its distinctive taillight design featuring three-dimensional LED lamps with a ‘boomerang’ shape, sharp edges, a central brake light, and turn indicators. The exact name of the SUV is yet to be announced.

This new model will be available through Maruti Suzuki’s Arena dealerships and will be positioned between the Brezza and Grand Vitara in the lineup. It is expected to offer more interior space and possibly a three-row seating option, making it slightly larger than the Grand Vitara.

Under the hood, the SUV will likely be powered by the 1.5-litre K15 naturally aspirated petrol engine, with a CNG variant also expected. Both versions should deliver around 100 hp and 88 hp, respectively. Features may include ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, a 9-inch touchscreen, panoramic sunroof, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, and a fully digital instrument cluster. The SUV aims to compete with rivals like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Curvv, Honda Elevate, and MG Astor.
