Global Health Limited, which operates the Medanta chain of multi-specialty hospitals across North and East India, reported strong growth in patient numbers and revenue in the December 2025 quarter, signalling rising demand for advanced healthcare services.
For Q3 FY26, the company’s consolidated total income increased 19.1% year-on-year to ₹11,428 million, supported by higher inpatient and outpatient visits. Inpatient volumes rose 14.3%, while outpatient consultations jumped 19.5%, reflecting greater access and utilisation of medical services. Patients also spent less time in hospital, with average length of stay improving to 3.02 days, even as care intensity increased.
Medanta added 144 new beds during the quarter, including at its recently opened Noida hospital, which became operational in September 2025. The Noida facility generated ₹343 million in revenue in its first full quarter, though it reported initial operating losses as services, doctors and infrastructure were scaled up. Over 70 doctors were onboarded, alongside new operating theatres and advanced medical equipment.
Profit after tax stood at ₹950 million, impacted by start-up costs at Noida and a one-time ₹366 million expense linked to new Labour Codes. Over the first nine months of FY26, Medanta added 537 beds, grew international patient revenue by 37.3%, and continued double-digit growth in its OPD pharmacy business, highlighting its focus on expanding quality healthcare access for patients.
