Meth worth ₹61.9 crore seized by Assam rifles in Mizoram

Assam Rifles personnel seized methamphetamine tablets worth ₹61.9 crore in Mizoram’s Champhai district, according to an official statement.

Acting on a tip-off, the personnel conducted a raid in Zokhawthar village, near the India-Myanmar border, on July 28 and seized 20.6 kg of methamphetamine tablets.

The Assam Rifles stated that the seized tablets were handed over to the state police for further legal proceedings.
