The Federation Enclave Sample Flat and Community Center at Ainawn Veng, Aizawl, was officially opened today by Chief Minister Lalduhoma. The Federation Enclave will be essential to Mizoram’s urban growth, the Chief Minister said in his inauguration address. He underlined that projects such as these will help to make Aizawl and the surrounding areas a future well-planned city. He added that he was eager for this housing complex to be completed successfully.

The Mizoram Government Employee Housing Society Chairman, Hmingchungnunga, thanked everyone in attendance, and FMGE&W President Er. R. Lalrammawia also spoke. The speakers emphasized how difficult it is for Mizoram’s government workers to find homes because of their frequent postings and moves. Reservations for the housing complex, which is anticipated to be finished by 2027, will open today. The dwelling units will only be accessible to government workers for the first year. Following this time frame, the apartments will be available for public purchase.

Blue Mountain Engineering & Services Limited and FMGE&W (Mizoram Government Employees Housing Society) are collaborating on the Federation Enclave project. There will be about 2,000 individuals and 350 families living in the complex. A Sample Flat was displayed during the opening event, which was held at the Complex Community Centre building. After touring the Sample Flat, the Chief Minister declared that bulk reservations for prospective purchasers would henceforth be accepted.
