Mizoram chief minister Lalduhoma on Tuesday said that his government will review the service of state government employees to identify those who are not fit for being employed. Speaking on the occasion of Mizoram Economic Summit held in Aizawl, Lalduhoma said that all departments have been directed to form service review committees.The review committees will identify employees, who are not fit to continue their service or to be employed under the state government, he said. The government will take steps to terminate such employees if necessary, he said.
With the launch of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Dashboard and the Mizoram State Project Monitoring Dashboard on Monday, the government has decided to strictly monitor all development projects in the state, the chief minister said. The government has disallowed departments to submit projects on their own and from now onwards all projects will be submitted to the Centre through the state planning department, he said.
Similarly, all Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives will be monitored from the Chief Minister Office (CMO), he said.
