Mizoram Lokayukta recorded 20 corruption-related complaints for 2024-2025, with six referred for preliminary inquiry. Since its inception in March 2019, it has registered 91 cases, 58 of which have been resolved, while 33 remain under inquiry or investigation. The Sixth Annual Report, covering April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025, was presented by Chairperson Lalmalsawma to Governor Vijay Kumar Singh. The chairperson outlined the Lokayukta’s status, activities, and future plans, receiving commendation from the Governor for their efforts and a call to intensify work going forward.
