Estimated read time 1 min read

Amid concerns over a possible shortage of LPG cylinders during the holiday season, Mizoram Supply Minister B. Lalchhanzova reassured the public that measures have been implemented to maintain an uninterrupted gas supply. The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has confirmed normal operations, stating there will be no shortages during Christmas and New Year. IOCL officials reported that the main supply route is fully operational. Lalchhanzova encouraged churches to utilize commercial LPG cylinders for community events to help manage heightened demand during the festivities, adhering to IOCL’s request to reserve domestic cylinders for households. FCS&CA director Saizikpuii supported this initiative, emphasizing the need for proper usage of commercial cylinders, and noted that churches are encouraged to obtain the appropriate connections. Guidelines for this transition will be finalized and distributed to the churches shortly.
