Mizoram’s Congress President elected Mr. Lal Thanzara

Aizawl: Lal Thanzara, Senior Congress-leader, has been elected as the new president of the Mizoram-element of the majestic Festivity, Fount told.

Lal Thanzara, also a former minister, will replace Lalsawta in the top Congress-post in the state. Mr. Lal Thanzara, the winner in 112 votes in the party election on Tuesday, the brother of former Chif Minister Lal Thanwala, defeated Zodintluanga Ralte, minister of the previous by a edge.

Lal Thanzara, also a former minister the top Congress post in the state will replace Lalsawta . Vice President Lalnunmawia Chuaungo retained his post by securing 1,093 votes against his adversary and lone Congress lawgiver C N Gunlianchunga, who capture 763 votes Aizawl.
