The CM of Mizoram Lalduhoma is optimistic about the Center exempting the 404 km-long international border that the state shares with Myanmar from being fenced, even as it goes ahead with the plan along the Manipur-Myanmar border.
An official statement said Lalduhoma met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Saturday and discussed a wide range of issues that run through four states: Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, and Nagaland .
Amit Saha clarified with the CM of Mizoram that the Mayanmar border is not sealed because the internals of Manipur do not want to break the people’s bad condition, discouraging the two politicians.
