The famous Neermahal, one of Tripura’s most popular tourist spots, is scheduled to host a stunning event. The celebrations will start in Neermahal and Rajghat, which are situated across the scenic Rudrasagar Lake, and will be part of the Tripura Tourism Promo Fest 2024 on December 9. The event’s fusion of culture, music, and cuisine is expected to draw thousands of guests, according to government sources. The Neermahal Light and Sound Show, a one-hour performance inside the old water palace, will be the main draw, though.
Soon after, a thriving cultural and culinary festival will bring Rajghat, on the eastern bank of Rudrasagar, to life, offering a taste of Tripura’s rich legacy. Sushanta Chowdhury, Minister of Tourism, will attend the event. Additionally, it was expected that Manik Saha, the chief minister of Tripura, will formally introduce the Light and Sound Show. In order to address logistical and infrastructure limitations, ADM Sepahijala D Goel and assistant manager Amritangshu Dattagupta of the Tourism Department examined Neermahal and Rajghat on Thursday.
Along with other local singers, Niharika Nath, a well-known vocalist from Tripura, will perform folk songs and dances during the evening program. From December 3 to December 14, there will be a number of celebrations focused on tourism, including this one. The public is already quite excited about the Neermahal event, which is expected to make this a very remarkable celebration.
