Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) has launched an extensive support program for customers whose vehicles have been affected by the recent severe flooding in India. The initiative includes a dedicated helpdesk offering free Roadside Assistance (RSA), which encompasses vehicle towing to authorized service centers. Additionally, Nissan is waiving insurance claim process fees up to INR 1000 for flood-affected vehicles. This support will be available until 30th September 2024.

Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, emphasized, “Our customers’ safety and satisfaction are paramount. By extending these measures until September 30th, we aim to ease the burden on those impacted and expedite vehicle recovery.”

In Aizawl, where flooding has disrupted daily life, Nissan’s support is seen as a critical lifeline for vehicle owners. The market is responding positively to the automaker’s offer of 10% discounts on engine oil and floor carpet replacements, along with a comprehensive vehicle health check-up. These measures are expected to alleviate some of the financial strain on Aizawl residents affected by the floods.
