Nissan Motor India has unveiled the All-New Tekton, its upcoming C-SUV, reflecting a strategic approach to leadership, market expansion, and product innovation. Drawing inspiration from the iconic Nissan Patrol, the Tekton blends bold design, premium craftsmanship, and advanced technology, reinforcing Nissan’s commitment to delivering vehicles that meet evolving consumer expectations. The name “Tekton,” meaning “craftsman” or “architect” in Greek, underscores the company’s focus on precision, innovation, and leadership in product development.
As the second model under Nissan’s “One Car, One World” strategy, the Tekton will be manufactured at the Chennai plant in partnership with Renault, targeting both domestic sales and selected export markets. Key design features include a sculpted bonnet, muscular side profile, signature C-shaped headlamps, rear illuminated lightbar, and subtle mountain-inspired accents, demonstrating a leadership-driven approach to aesthetic appeal, functionality, and brand identity.
Local dealerships report strong interest from consumers seeking a premium C-SUV that balances style and performance. Pre-launch inquiries suggest the Tekton could strengthen Nissan’s presence in the industrial city, aligning with the company’s broader strategy to leverage regional markets for sustainable growth. Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan India, commented, “The All-New Tekton embodies our leadership philosophy, combining innovation, design excellence, and strategic market insight to drive Nissan’s growth in India and beyond.”
