Not a new saree worth crores of rupees, Sonakshi got married in an old saree

For the evening she was dressed in a red Benarasi with matching kundan jewelry. But why did the actress suddenly wear an old saree at her wedding? After marriage, the actress went to attend a fashion show in Delhi. Talking about her wedding saree there, Sonakshi said, “I always wanted to get married in my mother’s saree. That’s what I had in mind. That’s how I did it all. I wanted to wear a red saree for the evening event. That’s what I did.”

Besides, Sonakshi also said that it took a total of five minutes to select the wedding dress. In the words of the actress, “We wanted to enjoy our day to the fullest. It only took five minutes to think about what to wear. Neither Zaheer nor I care much about clothes.
