Bollywood is all set to welcome its next big romantic drama, Param Sundari, featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles. Produced by Dinesh Vijan under the Maddock Films banner, the film is now scheduled for a theatrical release on August 29, following a slight delay from its original July date.
Directed by Tushar Jalota, Param Sundari offers a fresh spin on the North-meets-South love story theme, reminiscent of hits like 2 States and Chennai Express. The narrative centers on Sidharth as Param, a spirited “North ka Munda,” and Janhvi as the graceful “South ki Sundari,” exploring the complexities of their cross-cultural romance.
Though the full storyline remains under wraps, a teaser—released alongside the promo of Bhool Chuk Maaf—showcases a vibrant and emotional world. Adding to the excitement, the first song Pardesiya, billed as “the year’s most heartfelt song,” has been released and is already gaining attention for its romantic visuals and soulful melody.
Known for unique storytelling in films like Stree and Bhediya, Maddock Films appears ready to deliver another emotionally rich and culturally nuanced love story with Param Sundari.
