In Mizoram, Lalmoipuia Lawmzual of St. Paul’s Higher Secondary School topped the High School Leaving Certificate Examinations – 2024 for which the results were announced by the Mizoram Board of Secondary Education (MBSE) today. He scored a total of 485 out of 500 marks. A total of 13,618 candidates cleared the examinations with a pass percentage of 73.37 %. All together, 18,561 candidates appeared for the examinations.
In all, 1,332 passed in Distinction while 3,801 in First Division. As many as 5,564 candidates passed in Second Division while 2,921 passed in Third Division.With a pass percentage of 71.14 last year, this year HSLC results witnessed improvement in pass percentage.
Vanlalmuanpuii, also from St Paul’s Higher Secondary School stood second position with 480 marks while H Lalsangpuia from St Joseph Higher Secondary School came third with 478 marks. Of all the successful candidates, 7181 are female while 6437 are male.
