SBI General Insurance launches ‘SBIG Health Super Top-Up’ to combat rising medical costs

In a strategic move to address escalating healthcare expenses, SBI General Insurance has launched the ‘SBIG Health Super Top-Up’ policy. This innovative health insurance product is designed to seamlessly augment any existing health plan, offering flexible coverage options to meet diverse customer needs.

The super top-up policy provides a sum insured range from ₹5 lakhs to ₹4 crores, catering to both Group Health and Retail Health customers. With medical inflation in India currently at about 14%, the necessity for adequate health coverage has never been more pressing. The policy’s features include a cumulative bonus that remains intact after claims and unlimited restoration of coverage.

In Aizawl, where the demand for comprehensive health insurance is rising, this new offering comes as a timely solution. Many residents face challenges in accessing adequate healthcare due to rising costs, making the super top-up policy a valuable addition to their financial planning. Competitive premiums starting at ₹3,377 for individuals aged 18-35 further enhance its appeal.
