Tata Motors is preparing to launch the updated version of the Tata Sierra SUV in India, likely by Diwali 2025. The SUV was earlier showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo and has recently been spotted testing, hinting at a premium interior setup. Powertrain options are expected to include 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines, possibly borrowed from the Tata Nexon, or the 2.0-litre Multijet engine from the Harrier. An electric version with multiple battery configurations is also anticipated. Tata’s newly introduced ‘Quad Wheel Drive’ system, seen on the Harrier EV, might be offered in top variants of the Sierra. Inside, the Sierra will feature a triple-screen setup—a digital instrument cluster, a central infotainment screen, and a screen for the front passenger, all likely around 12.3 inches. The interior also includes a dual-tone dashboard, soft-touch materials, ambient lighting, and a redesigned four-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo. The exterior showcases a boxy design, LED strip, and rugged bumpers.
