Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is celebrating a significant milestone with the 25th edition of its Rural IT Quiz, in collaboration with the Department of Electronics, IT, BT, and Science and Technology, Government of Karnataka. This landmark event, part of the Bengaluru Tech Summit 2024, has been a beacon of opportunity for rural students, recognized by the Limca Book of Records as India’s first IT quiz for rural areas.
The quiz invites students from Classes 8 to 12 in smaller towns and districts—excluding city corporation areas—to showcase their tech knowledge through a series of online and physical rounds. Participants will explore diverse topics, including AI, cloud computing, and the impact of IT on various fields like education and entertainment.
In Champai, the quiz is more than just an educational event—it’s a chance for students to engage with the latest in technology and gain recognition on a national platform. As the region continues to develop its educational infrastructure, this initiative is set to inspire and empower young minds, potentially shaping future careers in technology. Students are encouraged to register by October 1, 2024, at TCS Rural IT Quiz Registration.
