Assam Rifles held a No Smoking Day awareness lecture at Laithlang Village, Siaha District, Mizoram. The purpose of the event was to inform the public about the negative consequences of smoking and the advantages of leading a tobacco-free life. The seminar was attended by twenty-five civilians, including young people and senior citizens. The health risks, financial hardship, and social repercussions of smoking were all discussed in the talk.
