There is no chance of rain in Kolkata. The remaining districts of South Bengal will also experience hot and muggy weather. Meteorologists have also said that all the districts of North Bengal may be drenched in continuous rain from Saturday to Wednesday. Light to moderate rain with thundershowers and gusty winds of 30 to 40 kmph. The people of Kolkata will have to suffer heat and pain all day on Saturday.
Note that the temperature has been rising in South Bengal for the past few days. Explaining the cause of this uncomfortable weather in South Bengal, the weather office said that hot and dry air is entering the state from the west.
